BREAKING NEWS – UKRAINE REACH

Today we received a formal reply from the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine concerning the comments we submitted during the public consultation on the Draft Resolution for the State Registration of Chemical Substances held in June.

We are very pleased to see that most of our comments were well received and will be either implemented or discussed further by the Ministry.

In particular:
– The possibility to use Iuclid as platform will be discussed during the technical implementation phase, while the ukranian Language is pre-requisite.
– Secure Joint submissions: the legislative text will be updated regarding the right to refer to data, however it is still not clear how (the mechanism) the access to the joint members will be granted by the lead registrant
– SIEF like formation for data sharing and lead election: our proposal requires a longer and more complex legal modification of complementary implenting acts
– availble joint members contact details: the information will be shared through a formal procedure that secures CBI

Today response clearly shows that Ukraine REACH is alive and that the Ministry is fully involved in its implementation and collaborates with active companies.

Having an Ukranian legal entity and a well experienced regulatory staff, we can support economic operators to continue their business in Ukraine without discontinuity, by keeping in mind that:

Pre-registration deadline: 26th January 2027
CLP notification deadline: 6th of December 2026
