A collection of more than 20 target species
Staphyt Brazil executes the collection of 20+target insect pest organisms (caterpillars, bugs, leafhoppers, whiteflies, psyllidae, thrips, aphids, etc) in different crops for the development of studies of characterisation and detection of insect pesticide resistance, besides the effectiveness of chemical and biological products, pheromone lures and GMOs.
This service is always accomplished in agricultural and representative areas, obtaining a satisfactory number of organisms to perform studies in laboratory conditions. The collections are performed in a specific way, in order to meet the varying request of our clients. Staphyt is authorised by the Ministry of the Environment to execute collections and for the transportation of target insects for scientific purposes.
