Staphyt Brazil is accredited by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply (MAPA), to execute research and official experimental tests with pesticides and related products, to issue technical reports on products’ effects on plant performance, phytosanitary control and product safety.

We are able to perform semi field and field studies, to validate the efficacy of the product, either chemicals or biologicals, on the target pests in different crops and sites.

Our team develops protocols and specific experimental lineation to each type of study, taking into consideration biology and the behavior of each target organism, characteristics and the mode of action of active and/or isolated components evaluated, and the specifications of each crop.

Efficacy and crop safety registration trials

These studies focus on the generation of official reports for product registration submissions under IN36, IN42 (Crop protection), IN53 (Fertilisers) and IN SDA13 (Inoculants).

Research and Development phase of new products

We help our clients in their product positioning, dose-response, lasting effect, number and interval of applications, target pests profiling for all main phytosanitary problems.

Demonstrations / sales support trial

We are setting up a special platform for our client’s field tours, emphasizing the differentiation of value propositions and focusing on training purposes, product launches and information provided to growers and retailers.

Nematode studies under natural environment management

These studies evaluate the products on plant performance (development, vigour and yield), dynamics of nematode population, cultural practices (no-tillage, rotation, fertilisation, etc) and cultivar testing.

Crop rotation, follow crop and carry over

Studies on residual herbicides and soil treatments (chemical/biological), including effect of pH, organic matter, soil type and soil compaction effect.
