Appropriate evaluation methods for biopesticides and biostimulants

Across the globe, biological pesticides and stimulants are becoming commonly accepted alternatives to their chemical equivalents.
Due to Biologicals’ nature and mode of action, testing these products requires a specific approach for designing studies and conducting tests. Staphyt was the first service provider to invest significantly to support clients in the undertaking of trials and the complex challenges of analysing the data from biological products. In 2011, a team (named BioTeam) entirely dedicated to this sector was established by recruiting agronomists, scientists, and regulatory experts specialising in these products.
Staphyt has forged its expertise and reputation in the study of biologicals, having worked on various active substances as botanical extracts, microbials (living or extracts of and semiochemicals), plant extracts, representing the main biological fertilisers and pesticides on the market today.
