Ecotoxicology & environmental Fate

Compliance with standards and according to appropriate protocols

Assessment of the environmental fate of chemical substances, whether synthetic or of natural origin, is required by current regulations.
The ecotoxicology services of the Staphyt laboratory allow meeting the requirements of these regulations for the registrations, market authorisations and provide data for Safety Data Sheets (SDS). They also provide the justifications necessary to support the marketing claims of ecolabelling.
In certain cases (volatile, insoluble substances, etc.) adaptations to the test protocols may be necessary. The expertise of our scientific teams and the functionalities of our equipment allow us to offer a solution adapted to the specific needs of each client. It is essential that our scientists in the analytical chemistry department develop and validate methods in-house, to enable monitoring of our customers specific substances in a variety of matrices; water, soil, sludge, fish…

The Staphyt laboratory works in accordance with OECD guidelines and in compliance with ISO and OPPTS standards and national and international regulations. Tests may be performed under Good Laboratory Practice or for R&D purposes.
