This Brazilian regulatory affairs consulting company based in Sao Paulo, will complete Staphyt’s own Brazil-based team of regulatory experts. According to Luiz Antonio A Jose, the Head of Operations of Staphyt Brazil, “We identified Plurie as the right company to boost our businesses in Brazil. They have an experienced and committed team which is the main value for us”.

Plurie Soluções Regulatórias was founded by Mariana Lima in 2008 after a successful career working in the regulatory affairs field at Syngenta. Since then, her company has grown significantly not only in its portfolio of services but also by being able to attend clients both in Brazil and abroad. Today, Plurie has about 25 employees working for clients in Brazil, China, India, Japan along with other countries in Europe. Plurie offers more than 25 different regulatory services in order to assist clients to select and define the best regulatory strategy, planning, execution, project management and follow up with the main regulatory agencies in Brazil (MAPA, ANVISA and IBAMA). Plurie also assists its clients with mandatory studies such as tox, ecotox, e-fate, environment license (EIA-RIMA), and environment, efficacy and residues studies monitoring. “We are very excited to merge our Staphyt Brazil activities with Plurie`s team. Mariana and her team will stay with us to support our business expansion in Brazil and also to other countries of Latam”, says Luiz Jose.

Staphyt also plans to expand its business beyond the regulatory area by implementing the Agrosciences business with a first research station in Brazil to be announced very soon. “We are committed to the objectives of our clients in Brazil so we will not stop here.
