Staphyt’s long-term Vision is ambitious and fundamental: “cultivating our passion in life sciences to sustainably feed the planet while preserving the environment”.
Our commitments and action plans are subject to a scheduled assessment by the ECOVADIS system.

Preserving our ecosystem
Staphyt’s fields of expertise are agronomic experimentation, regulatory consultancy, coordination of registration dossiers and environmental risk assessment : Staphyt is definitely a major actor of the agro-ecological transition.
R&D, innovation and training are major areas of investment that allow us to be at the forefront of the technological advances that will characterise the agriculture of tomorrow and the preservation of the environment. More generally, we contribute to the development of products that respect the environment and the safety of users and of our fellow citizens more and more.
In its internal functioning, Staphyt is committed to the preservation of environmental resources on its operational sites. For instance, our Sevilla experimental station was recently equipped with 2 sets of solar panels of respectively 3kw and 10kw capacity (see verbatim below).
“Staphyt Spain SL has received aid from the European Union under the NextGenerationEU Fund, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, for the 3kW photovoltaic self-consumption installation with file number 579203 within the programme of incentives linked to self-consumption and storage, with renewable energy sources, as well as the implementation of renewable thermal systems in the residential sector of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, managed by the Regional Government of Andalusia, through the Andalusian Energy Agency.”

Our field studies have also been subject to carbon footprint assessments in order to define measurable areas for progress.
