Despite the difficulties to register chemical products in Brazil, mainly due to the timing for dossiers getting reviewed by three Brazilian regulatory agencies (MAPA, ANVISA and IBAMA), a significant number of chemical products have been registered during the last 4-5 years. As an example, between 2019 – 2023, around 2.737 products were registered in Brazil while only in 2022, 652 products granted registration. On the other hand, in 2023 this number decreases 15% to 555.
Staphyt granted 62 registrations in 2022 (10% of the total) and another 36 registrations (Biorisk + Staphyt submissions on behalf of our clients) in 2023 which also is around 7%.

Our regulatory team really achieved outstanding performance for a regulatory consulting company, but that is not a surprise for us. We count on a team of 42 people among analysts, coordinators, and managers with vast years of experience in this market, fully aligned with the current and new legislation. Staphyt also implemented strong processes and internal operation systems to monitor all internal processes and dossiers submitted to the regulatory agencies. Staphyt also established the same quality, compliance, data protection, process audits, operational management excellence and LGPD policies as we have in place in the EU.
