Focus on our STAPHYT Plant Care laboratory and the evaluation of biostimulants and biofertilizers

In our regulated glasshouse or tunnel greenhouse, our team proposes protocols and adapts to the characteristics of your products according to the claim (standard FPR EN 17700-1 to -4):
• General principles (trials conditions, crop groupings, number of replicate per modality, maximum amount of nutrient supplied by the biostimulant,…)
• Tolerance to abiotic stress (Hydric stress, saline stress, nutritive stress)
• Determination of quality traits (Nitrogen Balance Index (NBI), Chlorophyll and flavonoid content, Height, BBCH stage, number of tillers, number of flowers, number of fruit, fresh and dry biomass, root architecture,…)
• Nutrient Use efficiency (Nutrient export of plant nutrient, partial factor productivity of supplied nutrient)

Several methods of application are possible:
• Foliar spraying with our cabin spray,
• Seed treatment,
• Drenching

Is your research exploratory or targeted at a particular group? The three groups are studied:
• Broadacre: wheat, barley, corn, raygrass, …
• Woody perennials : Vine
• Vegetables : Lettuce, tomato
