Staphyt is proud to announce the creation of the Biocontrol and Biostimulation for Agroecology Association (ABBA in french), of which we are a founder member. As a key player in agroscience and product development, Staphyt is committed to work at the centre of tomorrow’s agricultural challenges and to share our more than 30 years experience with the association members.

The French association has announced its creation in order to launch the implementation of the Grand Défi “Biocontrol and Biostimulation for Agroecology”, a national research and innovation programme planned as part of France 2030.

The Biocontrol and Biostimulation for Agroecology Association was created following its constituent general meeting held on Friday 23 June 2023. The association now has over 80 members, including public and private organisations. It involves and federates all the players, at every step of the market, in innovation and agro-ecological transition.

The aim of the Grand Défi, part of France 2030 strategy, is to accelerate innovation. It’s also to develop and diversify the biocontrol and biostimulation solutions available on the market, in combination with other solutions, for the agro-ecological protection of plants. It aims to deploy biocontrol and biostimulation solutions and new agro-ecological production systems that are sustainable from an economic, environmental and social point of view.
